Condition Guide
Every pre-owned piece has its own history. We look closely at the exterior, interior, hardware, corners, handles, and overall structure before assigning a condition rating.
No two pre-owned pieces wear in quite the same way. Review the photographs and Condition Notes for the clearest picture of the piece you are considering.
Exceptional
The closest to new. The piece appears unused or nearly unused, with little to no visible wear. Original accessories may be included when listed.
Excellent
Carried lightly and carefully kept. Minor signs of use may be visible upon close inspection, but the piece remains clean, crisp, and especially well preserved.
Very Good
A piece that has been enjoyed and well maintained. Visible signs of wear may include light rubbing, creasing, scuffs, or hardware marks. Its overall presentation and structure remain strong.
Good
A piece with more visible character. Moderate wear or cosmetic imperfections may be present, but it remains fully functional and worthy of a place in our collection.
